Brew day checklist
Day before/morning of brew day
1. Collect water and add water additions
2. Measure hops, put in labeled bags in freezer
3. Plug kettle into inkbird Wi-Fi sensor and set to be at strike when your planning to mash in.
4. (If using glycol to chill) Hook up glycol coil
Once water is to strike temperature
1. Unplug kettle from power source
2. Mash in (don't forget the brew bag!)
3. Place cover on mash and hook up BIAB to hoist and plug in hoist relay (if using)
4. Press "start mash" push-to-run smart automation
5. Set wifi sensor temperature setting to current temperature
6. Check settings. Heating and cooling difference should be 30, both heating and cooling should be OFF.
7. Plug kettle back in (at this point the system should NOT be heating or cooling)
8. Set up fermcap injector and fill hop trays
9. Turn ON necessary automations:
A. Boil 60
B. Raise mash
C. Push fermcap
D, E, F, G. Addition timers
10. Go enjoy your day! Come back in 6 hours to transfer to fermenter.
